First Time at the Pier-2 Art Center

At the end of December, I took the light rail to Kaohsiung’s Pier-2 Art Center. The weather was perfect—not too cold, and the sun wasn’t too strong. A light jacket was just right.
I thought I could finish exploring quickly, but the area was much larger than I imagined, with abundant creative markets and stalls. Even after crossing a bridge, there were still more markets to discover.
It feels like a great place for young people to visit. In this atmosphere, even a total geek like me started feeling a bit artsy.
However, since the area is quite large, for an “old guy” like me, I was seriously considering renting an electric wheelchair to get around XD.
If you’re coming from far away, taking the light rail all the way can be a bit slow. I guess there’s probably a better way—perhaps drive or ride to a station closer to Pier-2 and then transfer to the light rail.
